To
all Australopers Members (current and recent)
Just
another reminder of this Thursday’s Australopers meeting at Sally and Jeff’s
place:
6 Rupara Avenue
West Hobart
Starting 7.45pm
This is my first Australopers meeting as
president. Australopers monthly meetings have always been very enjoyable
events and I want to retain this by finding a suitable balance between
business, general orienteering and social.
For starters I want to introduce a theme for each
meeting. The theme for this meeting will be tips for fun training.
Tony Mount will speak about and demonstrate his “activity cards” system and Jan Hardy will demonstrate her laminated training
maps scheme.
In addition new social directors Kim Hazeldine and
Gary Carroll are putting together a calendar of social events and we are
looking forward to some good suggestions of possible social events from
members.
Most importantly I want to see heaps of Australopers
members coming along to these meetings, not just a core of office bearers.
Looking forward to seeing lots of you on Thursday.
Cheers
Bert Elson
President, Australopers.
