Elson Qualifies for Long Final at EOC

After warming up yesterday with two Sprint races, Grace Elson was in fine form today in the Long Distance Qualification. The top 17 runners from each heat qualified for the final. In a heat won by World Championship medallist Emma Engstrand in 41.05, Elson qualified easily with the 6th fastest in her heat, 46.42.

SILVA, naming rights sponsor of National Orienteering League Monday, 11 February 2008 The National Orienteering League will move into an exciting near era for 2008, after securing a naming rights sponsorship from SILVA. The sponsorship will allow the presentation of cash and prizes for the overall series as well as at selected events. Prizes will recognise the elites, but also benefit public event entrants.
