Summer MTBO at Lysterfield next Saturday

The first of this summer's four Summer 75 Series events is on next Saturday, January 30, at Lysterfield. The format is a 75 minute score event with 20 controls marked on the map Riders visit as many as they can and get back to the finish before the 75 minutes is up. You choose which route and which controls you want to visit. You can ride fast or just tootle along enjoying the trails. Lysterfield is a very popular mountain bike park with a fantastic network of single tracks and management trails giving riders the opportunity to choose which type of riding you'd like to do.. This year's event will take in some areas of the park we have not used for some years.
Riders carry a special eCard (supplied with your entry) that records your time and each of the controls visited and then provides instant results as you finish.
Entry fees are $10 for Orienteering Victoria members ($5 Juniors), $15 for non members ($8 Juniors). Register by 5.45 on the day. Starts are from 6pm.
Loan mapboards available. Enter Lysterfield Lake Park from Horswood Rd main entrance. Look for us just on the right as you come in the main gates.
BBQ available after the event with sausages, cheese toasties and soft drinks available.
