20th Anniversary Victorian MTBO Champs

A big weekend of MTBO is in store in Ballarat from the 17-19 March with the 2017 Victorian MTBO Championships. This will be the 20th Anniversary since the first championships were held at Lal Lal in 1997.

The weekend will also be the first round of the 2017 National MTBO Series and Selection races for the Australian MTBO team.

Sprint and Middle races on Saturday and the Long on Sunday. There are even some warm-up events in Ballarat on Friday.

Victoria Park is being used for a major car rally. So we have done better - using the southern section of Canadian forest (bit not racing on) and includes some nice single track!

FRIDAY 9.30am Canadian Forest South. Head south towards Bunniyong and turn east (L) onto Recreation Rd, Mt Clear and proceed some 500-800metres and look for my red car (and O flag) near the Mt Clear Scout Hall or oval a little further on. Very close to Mt Clear College. If you are later than 9.30am I will be hanging around the start / maps will be on my car.

FRIDAY 1.30pm  Nerrina.  Meet at Brown Hill oval. From Humffray St North Rd turn North into Reid St.

If anyone is in Ballarat Thursday night, the local MTB club has a dirt criterium at 6pm at Black Hill.  That's right in Ballarat slightly NE of city centre.
